Privacy Policy
What we collect, what we do not, and why we use the accurate word instead of the flattering one.
A child's name is never attached to what we learn: what Atlas Academy syncs when a connection exists is the learning record — which skills were practised and how they went — against a random identifier, never against an identity.
What does this website collect?
An email address, if you type one, and the fact that a page was opened. Nothing else. There is no advertising, no third-party tracking, and not a single external script on any page of this site.
Atlas is not open to the public yet, so what follows describes how the application behaves once you install it. It is already built that way.
What stays, and what syncs
The left column does not travel. The right column goes up when the phone finds a connection, and waits indefinitely when it does not.

Does anything leave the phone while a child is learning?
No. There is no network call during a lesson, and not because of a privacy setting: there is no network code in the session path at all, and a network call there fails our build. It is the same fact as "it works offline", seen from the other side.
Syncing happens outside the session, when a connection exists, and it is never a condition for a child to keep learning.
Why do you collect anything?
We say this plainly rather than pretending we do not want it: a tutor that cannot see where children get stuck cannot get better at un-sticking them, and refusing that data would make Atlas a worse teacher. So we take the learning signal — what was practised and how it went, against a random identifier — and we do not take identity.
The word we use on purpose
We call the synced record pseudonymous. That is the accurate word, and there is a more flattering one we decline to use: a long record of one learner is not nothing, even without a name attached. We would rather name the data precisely and treat it carefully.
Advertising and data sale
Atlas has no ads and will not have any. We do not sell data, we do not share it with advertisers, and there is no third-party tracking inside the application your child uses.
How to request your data, or have it deleted
Write to hola@atlasacademy.app and we will tell you what record exists against your account, hand it to you, or delete it — whichever you ask for.
If we delete the synced record, your child loses nothing: the phone owns its own progress and carries on exactly as before.
